STATEWIDE: CEO EVENT - May 10, 2014

Aloha!

Now that we are wrapping up the 2014 Cookie Season, it's time to CELEBRATE the success of our Girl Scouts!!

This year's CEO Event will be held onboard the Star of Honolulu on May 10, 2014 from 11:30am-2:30pm.  There will be fun activities for the girls and a rare chance to cruise on this fabulous ship while enjoying a delicious luncheon buffet!

For those of you who are new, the CEO Event is an event to honor all of the girls hard work this season, but also to honor the girls who have sold 700+ boxes of cookies.  These girls may attend the event at no cost!

Of course, the more the merrier, and so we open this invitation to all girls and adult volunteers.  The cost per person will be as follows:

$45/person if registered by 4/20/14.

After 4/20/14, the rate will be $55/person.  This is a discounted rate and therefore a great opportunity to ride the Star of Honolulu.

Registration will begin some time later next week.  Stay tuned!

MAHALO and we hope that your troop will be able to join us!

STATEWIDE: Cookie Buffer Information

Girl Scout Cookie Buffer Information

Here is information on the buffer (extra inventory of cookies) and how you can check out more cookies if your troop has exhausted your inventory.

1. Neighbor Islands (Kauai, Maui, Big Island) need to call your respective island representative and schedule an appointment to check out cookies from the buffer. To schedule, contacts are as follows:
Kauai - Shereen Hoopii, shhoopii@girlscouts-hawaii.org
Maui - Tauna Neerings, taneerings@girlscouts-hawaii.org
Big Island - Marci Goldman-Manker, mamanker@girlscouts-hawaii.org

2. Oahu - this year, the buffer is located in the lobby of the Ala Moana Hotel, near the  Girl Scout Shop. Buffer hours begin on Wednesday, February 26th, 10:00am to 1:00pm.  Weekday hours (Monday-Friday) will be 10:00am to 1:00pm, and on select Thursday and Fridays from 4:00pm-6:00pm.  Saturday-Sunday hours will be 10:00am to 3:00pm. (first three weekends of booth sales)

Please email Gretchen with your requested date/time to pick-up cookies from the buffer and your order (number of cases per flavor) 24 hours prior to your requested appointment time.

If you have damaged boxes of cookies, all buffer locations will EVEN exchange those boxes for a new one in the same flavor. WE WILL NOT EXCHANGE DAMAGES FOR A DIFFERENT FLAVOR. If you have more than 5 cases of damages to be exchanged, please email Gretchen to schedule an appointment.
On the day of your pick up, please park at the Ala Moana Mall and take the ramp to the hotel.
The Cookie Buffer is located on the lobby floor, near the Girl Scout Shop.  You will need to sign in with the Cookie Buffer staff.
We will then pull your order. Orders will be pulled on a first come, first served basis.  If you have a scheduled pick up time, we will try to accomodate you as best as we can. Once your order is verified, you will be asked to move your car to be loaded.
Do not park in the loading dock unless directed.
The hotel will not allow us to enter/exit via the main lobby with large orders.  Please be respectful of this rule.
Please remember that cookies cannot be returned to the Cookie Buffer once they are checked out.  On Saturdays and Sundays, the shop will be closed but a staff person will be stationed in the buffer space. Please also note that the hotel has authorized us to use the loading dock and entrance to the Kona Tower ONLY. Please do not attempt to carry cookies out the main lobby door or via the bridge connecting the hotel to the shopping center.
